DIVOS - IVLIOS Bare head of Julius Caesar to right. Cf. Babelon (Julia) 98, Crawford 535/1, RBW 1822, RPC I 620 and Sydenham 1335 (for prototype). An interesting contemporary imitation of somewhat curious but charming local style. Traces of removed encrustations, otherwise, very fine.
